In anticipation of the scenery I’ll start seeing very soon I thought I would post a re-processed image from last years travels with what I have learnt over the last few months courtesy of the course run by Christian Fletcher.

The warm glow on the rocks and the colours in the sky are definite improvements. Great shot
that is awesome mate!
i take it’s the same as top image… i always thought the sky was blown, but this is great!
god stuff
Awesome shot mate and much improved post production work on it compared to your blog header. Super nice fine art landscape. Just a bit burned out sky still but now it doesn’t dominate like before (our eyes are naturally attracted to big bright patches of light)
that Christian Fletcher, man he has good advice, when can I get on his next course??? A vast improvement on the original Neal, I think your getting it!! Good one!
Thx folks
Next course is an in depth CS3 course π
Yeah looking forward to getting back there and shooting again with the gained experience of the last year. But first there’s a ton of spots round San Francisco to shoot first before heading up to Tahoe to shoot and get a belly full of Fat Burger
π
Great work Neal ,
This edit has really pops
Love the compostion on it as well
This is now one of my favourites from you, Neal. This one is a much better edit than the header image of your blog.
I finally got to go out tonight and use the 5D on location… It was awesome!
Neal,
Make sure you stay away from the ‘suspect’ beach in San Francisco this time. π I know someone that does brilliant PS courses and offers great after course service (like Mr Fletcher). Drop me a line if you’re interested.
Jamie
Jamie, I will be back at bakers beach for another round of pics as I was not too satisfied with the last shoot and there is a little beach at Mcway falls, Hwy 1, CA that I am going to try and photograph as well as I missed it last year coming up Hwy 1 through Big Sur. Most of my time in SF will be spent in and around the northern side of the golden gate in areas like Muir Woods/Beach, Stinson Beach and Point Reyes National Seashore, the coastline up there is amazing.
Always interested in learning a little more about PS π
Well my Melissa and I are very jealous!!! Can’t be much longer now, I hope you two have stacks of fun and the that photo god looks down upon you favourably. LOL
Thank you for good information
