The Cabin

On a recent trip to Lake Tahoe I met up with fellow photographer Leon for a early morning shoot at Emerald Bay. After shooting Emerald Bay in less that perfect light Leon suggested we make our way to these hidden falls that I am sure only he knows about, he’s a bit like a bloodhood and waterfalls and pretty much seems to know every waterfall in Northern California intimately well.

Here is one of the set of images I took of these falls, named “The Cabin” What a nice summer hideaway this cabin would be, fridge full of beer and snacks, lap top and view to kill for away from the hordes of people, pretty near paradise for me. Well at least for someone.

Check out Leon’s Blog lots of great waterfall images. Waterfall West

Beautiful shot, exposure is dead on. Its funny, living in perth we don’t generally see skys like that but they seem to be in almost every photo you took over there.

  6. Thanks for all the kind words folks, I was not sure about this set of images as I was thinking it was a little busy.

Thanks Leon again for making that 3 hr drive to Tahoe for the shoot thats HUGE in my book. That was some cold start to the day and I’ll never forget loosing the back wheels on the wet road leading up to Emerald Bay in the pitch black on the side of the mountain, damn near spilled my coffee 🙂
