California Waterfalls

Another from the recent trip to California. Shot at 200mm with the Canon 5D Mrk II. These spring fed falls are a treat to experience.

A migratory black bird, not sure of the name, maybe someone can let mw know what they are … They looked about the size of a fist came in at dusk to roost behind the falls … Tough little critters, wouldn’t catch me driving in behind those falls …

Still working on trying achieve more depth to my images ….

    really like the depth with the tree in front like this!

  2. Thanks Stephen … Yep I shot this at 200mm while waiting on the afternoon light. I dont know how far in front that tree branch was but it was some distance. I shot it at f/16 to try and provide some depth as well as selective sharpening …
