Denmark’s Elephant Cove

After a cold windy and wet night camping on the South Coast near Denmark Western Australia I woke way too early packed the tent up and hiked up the coast a few km’s till I came to Elephant Cove. Earlier I had posted a blog post to the first image I took of the area listed here Elephant Cove Denmark this is the second of the images captured that morning at the same location with a slightly different vantage point. This capture is actually 12 images stitched (2 rows of 6) to produce a very high resolution print that can be printed up to 80 inches while still keeping with the highest of quality and sharpness. The Print is now also available on Spoolphotography.com under the “Open Edition Section Western Australia”

Awesome mate. Great clouds hanging in the sky. you going to print one at 80inch? haha. Betcha itchin to.

  2. That’s a winner Neal, wow I really like this due to the fantastic clouds and the nice leading lines leading to top right third.

I might crop a bit tighter as the clouds out there are the story for me, but that’s a personal taste. Great shot from a place that’s hard to shoot I found.

    • cheers … i could crop a tighter version easily as I have plenty of pixels in this one … Your right it is a little difficult to get a nice composition at this location … I’m pretty sure there will be a few like this one now over time LOL …

  3. Works for me…love those lovely rocks! Yum, yum, better than the sandstone toss pots around Perth! I find the magenta in the clouds a little destracting, but it’s a great shot! Would be a cracker printed big.

    Very nice shot Neal.
Greta blues that are contrasted very well against the reds in the rocks.
did you avoid using grads for the two layers worth of stitching…?

  5. already told ya I love this one 🙂

Plenty of punch to this one Neal. Not too heavy, not too light. It’s Kellogg’s Just Right.
